Synchrotron analysis

Since my PhD, an important part of my research is conducted via synchrotron analysis. I combine X-ray based analytical methodologies to probe paint formulations and gather new insights into the way they were produced in the past [1,2,3] and how they evolve over time [4,5]. I am a very frequent user of the ESRF (beamlines ID13, ID21, ID22), but also use other synchrotron sources across Europe (PETRA-III – P06 ; DIAMOND – I18 ; SOLEIL – PUMA, DISCO…)

Recently, with my colleagues Marine Cotte, Letizia Monico and Frederik Vanmeert, I created the Historical Material BAG, a collaborative access mode to the structural capacities of the ESRF. I was the main scientific coordinator of the BAG from 2020 to 2025.
