[Structure / properties] relationships in inorganic pigments

I am a CNRS researcher (Chargé de recherche) at the Laboratoire de Photophysique et Photochimie Supramoléculaires et Macromoléculaires (PPSM), the chemistry laboratory of the ENS Paris-Saclay. I received a PhD in Chemistry from the Sorbonne University in 2016, conducted at the C2RMF in Paris. I then worked in the Netherlands, first as a post-doc in the Material Science Department of TU Delft, and then as a junior scientist at the Science Department of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. I became a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow at the PPSM laboratory in 2021 before joining the CNRS in 2023. My work is aimed at chemically revealing the production methods and alteration mechanisms of historical paint formulations, through the use of chemical imaging techniques at the multi-scale, notably via synchrotron radiation.
